Coulson has instructed Skye to create a team of people with powers but should remain unknown to the world. Another cliffhanger is when Fitz and Simmons were supposed to go on a date but Simmons was suddenly absorbed by the Kree stone.

The deaths of the three women villains and a dynamic story plot give slots for new good and evil characters for the coming Season 3 of the Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., according to the International Business Times.

Moreover, a new villain of the S.H.I.E.L.D. who leads a new government agency is in the person of Constance Zimmer (House of Cards and Entourage), Entertainment Weekly reports. Zimmer's new agency also works similarly to Coulson's agency, dedicated on hunting Inhumans. However, the site also notes that Zimmer's character has not been named yet but the comic fans will surely know her.

A decisive and aggressive agent who will be portrayed by Andrew Howard is reportedly the latest addition to the lineup of agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Though the presence of his character has been confirmed, his character description and role to the Agency still remains unknown.
