Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is rumoured to be released by August 16 this year. There are also reports that Redmi Note 2 will be at an affordable price of $249. Reportedly, it'll be running Android MIUI 6, which is always going to be the right choice of OS for Xiaomi Redmi Note 2. Various reports about the said device's display have contradicting ideas. However, the Xiaomi haven't officially announced about Redmi Note 2's specs.
Oppomart have already the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 in their online market, though it is tagged out-of-stock. In the mart, the Redmi Note 2 is priced at $249. The mart flags the interesting specs of the smartphone. Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 will have 5.7-inch 2.5D glass screen with 1920x1080 pixel display.
It will be sporting Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core processor. It has stunning curved glass back cover sporting a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. The device also support global 4G LTE-FDD bands running Android MIUI 6 base on Android 4.4 OS.
As reported by phonearena, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 has high chance to be unveiled this August 16, though, it is still uncertain. Moreover, Xiaomi's marketing manager, Mr. Tony, have posted to his Weibo account, which is reportedly referring to Redmi Note 2.
"Do not wait so long to see the side, right? 816 See Beijing." -Mr. Tony. In addition, it was supported by another post from IHS Technology Director Wang Yang. "Qiazhiyisuan, debut of the Redmi Note 2,″ Director Wang Yang said.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 will probably come out with two variants. It would be MT6795 and a Snapdragon 615 model. But based on gsmarena chart, it will be having Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410. Consumers should also expect the 2gb RAM to be presented for the performance of the handset. In addition, the device will 5-inch display with resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels at 267 ppi pixel density which contradicts to the Oppomart description.
