The long wait is about to end. The third season of 'Longmire' was ended in August last year and was dropped by A&E thereafter. The thought of losing a brilliant show, fans hopes and prayers for renewal 'Longmire' season 4 have heard by Netflix.
And now, Netflix is bound to release all 10 episodes of 'Longmire' season 4 this September 10, 2015 (Thursday), as reported by Deadline.
For those who don't know, 'Longmire' is the TV series based on the books by Tucson Festival of Books fan-favorite Craig Johnson. Netflix Life notes that the series revolves around Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor), a sheriff of a Wyoming town who tries to solve crimes in the place and keep his job by getting re-elected.
According to Tucson, 'Longmire' season will pick up from where it has left off, when Absaroka County, Wyoming, Sheriff Longmire discovers his wife's killer and goes to avenge her death.
But more than that, show's executive producer Greer Shephard, who admittedly wept in a meeting, said the upcoming season will have a major theme about "second chances."
"Season 4 is about second chances. Who you are as a person is defined by how you handle the second chance. Netflix has incorporated that theme in their campaign. There are a lot of ways in which people can rebuild themselves after devastating experiences. We explore that theme throughout each of our characters. Now that Walt knows the murderer of his wife, how does he go on? With Henry, he has a new-found freedom, what does he do with it?," Shephard said.
