“The Maze Runner: Scorch Trials” Update: Get to know the cast – old & new; Skeletal zombies the cause for Earth’s destruction?

"The Maze Runner: Scorch Trials" is gearing up for its release next month and as far as everyone knows, the trials and the maze is far from being over. There is still more to learn about the W.I.C.K.E.D conspiracy, what the planet has come to and what caused its destruction. Dylan O'Brien returns as Thomas, along with the rest of the cast who made it out of the maze alive. By getting out, they later on realized that things are about to get worse.

The second of the dystopian book series by James Dashner-"The Maze Runner: Scorch Trials" managed to pull back in majority of its production with director Wes Ball helming and T. S. Nowling penning the script.

As for the actors, "Teen Wolf" star Dylan O'Brien reprises his role as Thomas, Kaya Scodelario as Teresa, Thomas Brodie Sangster as Newt, Ki Hong Lee as Min Ho and Patricia Clarkson as W.I.C.K.E.D.'s Ava Paige. Just like any other film installment, new characters will also be introduced.

In Coming Soon's cast spotlight, they featured the film's additional cast. Inside W.I.C.K.E.D., Game of Thrones star Aidan Gillen plays the role of Janson, the man who welcomes Thomas and his group to the new base and claims to aid them through a series of conspicuous processions. A person in connection of Teresa's and Thomas' past, Jacob Lofland plays the role of Aris.

Outside the confinement area, the group meets Rosa Salazar who plays as Brenda and the two leaders of another youth survivor group Sonya, played by Katherine McNamara and Harriet played by another Game of Thrones actor with mixed heritage, Nathalie Emmanuel.

There's also Barry Pepper who plays the role of Vince, the only living survivor of the elite soldiers called "The Right Arm." Giancarlo Esposito assumes the role of Jorge Gallaparga, one of The Flare virus infected people labeled as the Cranks.

Director Wes Ball will sure have all of the film's viewers at the edge of their seats with the upcoming revelations for this second installment.
