Showtime reveals that in Season 3 of Masters of Sex, William and Virginia finally publishes their first book, Human Sexual Response, the fruit of the pair's work and affair.

Artbeat reports that the newest season premiers the release of William and Virginia's book and the reaction of the reading public to it. But aside from the book launching, Season 3 shows how William and Virginia, by now longtime lovers, are beginning to act as old married couple. Meanwhile, Libby passively accepts the affair.

Furthermore, Episode 1 of Season 3 features the young children of William and Libby and Virginia with her divorsed husband as full character and how these children as young adults caused conflict until Episode 3. William and Virginia sees this home problems as consequence of their previous actions.

Going back, Masters of Sex initially revolves on William and Virginia as pioneers of the Science of Human Sexuality. The plot tells how the two: William and Virginia, made it from nothing but their theory to being on the cover of Time Magazine as Vulture recounts.

In the first season, William admits to Virginia that, "there's only one thing he can't live without; her." But Vulture connotes that this wasn't because he loves her but because she is the one thing that remains of their research.

In the second season, Libby, wife of William, learns of her husband's disloyalty but opted to stay and pretend that it was't the case for the sake of the children.

Based on Thomas Maier's book, Masters of Sex, the American drama series, Masters of Sex celebrates its second birthday a month from now. Lead actress Lizzy Caplan said to Hollywood that the drama series is the longest series she has made to date which further proves the support of the adult audience to the program.

William and Virginia's book launch is expected to create waves of reactions as the show proceeds to its upcoming third season. Masters of Sex airs every Sunday in Showtime.
