SYTYCD Top 16 Update: Marissa and Assaf Left, Four Follows in August 10

By

With a punk-rock flourish opening, Season 12 of So you Think You Can Dance, features its twist of Stage Dancers vs Street Dancers last August 3 in Fox. Four participants are expected to leave in upcoming August 10 episode.

According to Eonline, SYTYCD levels up its latest season with its new judges Paula Abdul and Jason Derulo and returning hosts Cat Deeley while Nigel Lythgoe remains as veteran judge. Aside from these interesting suprises to make SYTYCD better in its 10th year, America is so excited to meet the Top 16 and Blog Chron knows exactly what to do to satisfy them. With only one question: What does America need to know about you?, Blog Chron unmasked these 16 gorgeous American dancers.

To start with, let us have members of Team Stage Dancers unveil what important thing America has to know about them and be amazed of their definition of important. Note that these are their actual responses. America needs to know that Hailee is a natural blonde, Jim likes bubble baths, Edson is a cheerleader who coaches high school and competitive cheerleading, Gaby can't cook, Alexia has a blind toy poodle, Kate was once targeted for kidnapping by a famous serial killer, Derek was adopted by his foster parents when he was two and Marissa used to be a power tumbler.

Then, let us know Team Street Dancers with their answer to the same question: What does America need to know about you and see if this team better define the word important. America needs to know that Megs owns 378 pairs of shoes, Virgil has a jazz band, Jaja is engaged with another dancer, Ariana also wants to be a makeup artist, Neptune is a father to a beautiful 4-year-old daughter, Yorelis moonlights as a go-go dancer in club, JJ's favorite hairstyle is top-knot and Assaf's favorite foods are donuts and peanut butter.

To date Team Stage Dancers now has 50.5% of the vote while Team Street Dancers has 49.5%. Whether, their answer to Blog Chron's survey matters or not, the remaining 14 (since Marissa and Asaf were sent home in the last episode) have to bare in mind that they have to be well liked by America as a dancer and as a person because in the next episode only 10 will remain.
