The wait is not yet over but viewers can get a glimpse of what will happen in a more suspenseful Season 6 of The Walking Dead. The coming season of the horror drama television series will be an array of spectacle - more gore, more blood, new characters, new villains, new storyline, and possibly new walkers. The sixth season will also include a storlyline not included in the comic. Definitely a must watch for all fans.
After killing Pete and expressing his intention of taking over Alexandria earlier than intended, Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) will have to resolve conflicts - both internally and externally, this coming Season 6 of the Walking Dead. Internal conflicts will rise among the Alexandrian residents, Entertainment Weekly exposed. Alexandrian will question Rick's leadership ability and his method of dealing with problems. Perhaps, Alexandrian residents will also devise a mutiny against Rick.
Outside the Alexandra Safe Zone, Rick will have to protect his community against the Wolves. In the previous season, Rick, Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus), and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) observed the W carving in the walkers forehead (some were in the limbs) around Alexandria. Audiences associate the W carving to the "Wolves not far" spray painted in walls in several scenes of the series. The W could mean Wolves, which could also mean a group of new antihero.
Who are the Wolves? There were three potential candidates based on the comic series, Movie Plot noted. Wolves can be The Whisperers, the group that wear walker skin; the Scavengers, the group whose leader is named Derek. It can also be Negan and the Saviours, whose group's trademark is physically labeling people. Or, the Wolves could be a new villain not part of the comic book.
Apart from the human villains, Rick and company will have to fight new breed of walkers. The walkers will be visually creepier, more horrific, and that they are possibly capable of using weapons.
The Walking Dead Season 6 will welcome new characters - Dr. Denise Cloyd (Merritt Wever) and Carter (Ethan Embry). Dr. Denise will encounter Morgan Jones (Lennie James) after Morgan was bitten by a walker. Morgan will refuse help from Dr. Denise and will eventually die (Spoiler!), Wet Paint revealed.
Watch as Rick and his group survive the Alexandrian uprising, the Wolves, and new walkers on The Walking Dead Season 6 premieres with a 90 minute episode on 11 October, 9 pm ET, at AMC.
