'Big Hero 7' rumors say that Tadashi is alive and will return as Sunfire in the upcoming 3D animated superhero adventure film. Disney also explained its powerful rendering machine that makes its animated films realistic.
Ever since Stan Lee's announcement of a possibility of a 'Big Hero 6' sequel rumors have been flying around regarding the supposedly deceased Tadashi's reappearance in the film. Tadashi was caught in a building explosion and assumed gone in the first movie. According to MNR Daily, Hiro Hamada's older brother survives the incident and will return as Sunfire in 'Big Hero 7'.
In the comic books, Sunfire is a member of the X-Corporation founded by X-Men's Professor Charles Xavier as well as an original member of Big Hero 6. He is endowed with the ability to fly and generate blasts of plasma. In the article, Sunfire is set to battle against Hiro and Baymax but will eventually reconcile with the two. This theory is yet to be confirmed.
According to Engadget.com, Disney's 3D-animated films are powered by superior technology called the Hyperion renderer. It is an image rendering machine that employs a ray tracing technique where it calculates light pathways bouncing off subjects in a scene. It basically uses a lot of technical geometry for illumination and shading.
In another article by Cartoon Brew, it was reported that the animation company spent two years developing the technology from scratch before engaging it on its films. Hank Driskill, Technical Supervisor on 'Big Hero 6' at Disney Animation, explained that the Hyperion renderer was valuable in the making of the film - from its colorful landscapes down to details on characters.
'Big Hero 7' is the follow-up to 2014's 'Big Hero 6'. Its predecessor was an instant hit at the box office grossing $652 million (according to Box Office Mojo) as well as procured an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.
