The Harry Potter star Emma Watson has broken her silence on her split up with ex boyfriend Matt Jenney. Though her relationship with Rugby player Matt Jenney ended last December, after a year of being together, it's the first time Watson has fully opened up on how she has coped to get over the split.
In a report from the Daily Mail, the 25 year old actress has admitted to undergoing a 'silent retreat' that was initially to help her move on from her heartache over the split. Watson spoke up on how she booked herself in at Canada's Rocky Mountains where a facility is available known as the 'silent retreat'. The retreat involved a week long of silence where Watson could gather her thoughts and simply relax.
Though it has been reported Emma Watson went to the retreat before the break up, in an interview with Vogue UK as reported by Hollywood Life, the actress was already feeling uncomfortable with herself and what was going on around her before the split, and wanted time alone where she could figure things out for herself.
Both Emma Watson and Matt Jenney went their different ways in an amicable split up, however the actress found herself struggling even calling the break up as 'horrendous'. According to Hello Magazine, a spokesperson was able to confirm that the two parted ways due to busy work schedules. The actress who is also a model, and UN Women Goodwill Ambassador is known for her constant charity works and projects, hence why the relationship may have fallen apart.
However six months after the break up, Watson is back to business feeling as strong as ever as she gets ready for even more projects to amaze her fans with. She will be starring in the live action adaptation of 'Beauty and the Beast' playing the role of 'Belle', and will also star in the upcoming movie 'The Circle' with famous actor Tom Hanks.
It seems that the 'silent retreat' did the actress good as she has been able to get over her relationship with Matt Jenney, and is happily preparing herself for more busy schedules for her upcoming projects.
