'The Good Wife' season 7 will see the exit of familiar faces and the entrance of new characters. Latest reports reveal that Alicia Florrick's daughter, Grace, may appear seldom in some episodes. As reported, actress Makenzie Vega is no longer a series regular. The outgoing and the upcoming characters will probably have some noticeable effect on Alicia this season.
Fans were pretty much happy when CBS decided to renew their legal drama series, 'The Good Wife' for season 7 after the hearsay of cancellation. There are not quite cliffhangers left last season. So, it is expected that there will be changes or something new in the storyline.
As the cast and crew continue on filming, a couple of spoilers are surfacing online. One of which is the possibility that Alicia will partner up with Louis Canning. This may be true, as a new behind-scene-image was recently posted by actress Julianna Margulies herself with Michael J. Fox.
Enstarz notes that the picture could mean a discussion about their characters' new partnership. And the rest of the photos that Margulies posted have provided the details that Alicia will have a new office.
Additionally, actress Amy Irving, who's playing Bridget Regan, has a side profile of her character sitting on a chair inside Alicia's new firm. And TVLine has previously confirmed that Irving is coming to 'The Good Wife' season 7.
Aside from the possible new firm, Alicia may be changing persona in 'The Goodwife' Season 7. She may be sharper than before, if her new hairstyle speaks for herself.
Meanwhile, Alicia's daughter Grace, who is also seen in the released images, may not be seen longer. According to Latin Post, actress Makenzie Vega is reportedly no longer a series regular. Her character will still be seen in some episodes with few moments on cam, unlike Archie Panjabi and Matthew Goode who really have left the show.
