The all-star team-up of DC super villains "Suicide Squad" of Warner Bros., was the most watched movie trailer for the week ending August 3.

"Suicide Squad" trailer rocketed to the top of the week's rankings according to marketing firm Zefr which tracks the numbers. "Suicide Squad" had its trailer discharged after a low quality contraband cam version of it recorded at Comic-Con leaked on the Internet. The leak forced Warner Bros to release the real HD version on the Monday after Comic-Con.

The movie set to have an August 5, 2016 premiere garnered 5.5 million Internet views for a total of 66.7 million views, according to the company that tracks viewing numbers.

"Suicide Squad" stars Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Cara Delevingne, and many others. Viola Davis managed to be in the running for the role of Amanda Waller despite her schedule for her ABC television show "How to Get Away With Murder." She said ABC actually wanted her to do the movie.

"They were totally willing to work it out," Davis said. "I'd never seen anything like it. Paul Lee came up to me and said, 'Oh, I want you to have everything.' Who does that? I was very lucky."

"Suicide Squad" depicts the imprisoned lives of super villains who work for the U.S. government in high-risk missions in exchange for commuted sentences. They are formally called "Task Force X" but will come to the knowledge of many as the "Suicide Squad."

The team's actions are highly classified, and the government is able to deny any involvement by claiming that they are not responsible for the damages of a random super villain attack. Their commander is Amanda Waller, who runs the organization out of Belle Reve prison. The "Suicide Squad" was created by Robert Kanigher and Ross Andru
