On Monday, Will Smith left tongues wagging after he shut down breakup rumors with his wife. His social media rant defied all swirling divorce speculations that have been running on for years. Same day, Smith's daughter, Willow defended her parents in her most funny way.
The 14-year-old wrote, "The media thinks my parents are getting divorced like every second hahaha!"
Will Smith fuming denial of divorce rumors comes after Radar Online reported that one of the most powerful couples in Hollywood are heading for $240 Million divorce at the end of the summer.
The site said that the A-listers had been exhausted from trying to maintain the façade of a happy union. It was made more serious when a source apparently told the site that the duo had been holding on together and so far these past few years have been rough since their marriage has been on life support for a long time.
The site claimed that divorce controversies did not stop since Smith had reportedly cheated on his wife over his "Suicide Squad" co-star Margot Robbie in 2013. To make matters worse, the site reported that Pinkett had an affair with "HawthoRNe" co-star Marc Anthony in 2011.
The false report was easily swiped away by Gossip Cop that reported that the couple is not divorcing and no divorce is happening at the end of the summer. It claimed that the entire story made by the "webloid" is "not true."
At the start of the week, Will, 46, defended his marriage on his first-ever Facebook statement clearing all marital issues with his wife of 17 years Jada, according to Daily Mail.
"Under normal circumstances, I don't usually respond to foolishness. (Because it's contagious) But, so many people have extended me their "deepest condolences" that I figured - "What the hell... I can be foolish, too!"
"So, in the interest of redundant, repetitious, over & over-again-ness... Jada and I are...NOT GETTING A DIVORCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Will and Jada, 43, are parents to son Jaden, 17, and daughter Willow, 14. The couple has been married for 17 years.
