Samsung and Apple once again will slug it out in the coming months when the two consumer electronic giants will release their flagship phablets, the Galaxy Note 5 and iPhone 6s Plus. Clearly, both phablets have their own ups and downs, but the one which will come out victorious with the most ups will surely have an advantage in the market.
First, what will the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 offer come release date? According to CNet, the next Samsung flagship phablet is rumored to be equipped with the Exynos 7422 processor. It will also have the standard 32GB internal memory with 4GB or RAM. It is also rumored to have a 5.7 inches screen with a 2,560x1,440-pixel display, which is the same as its older brother, the Galaxy Note 4.
Moving to Apple's iPhone 6S Plus, TeleGraph reported that the next Apple flagship phablet will retain the iPhone 6's 4.7 inch screen and 5.5 inch dimension. In addition, the upcoming phablet is also rumored to be .2mm thicker than the iPhone 6 due to Apple's Force Touch technology.
TeleGraph also quoted that the upcoming iPhone 6s Plus will come in the standard silver and gold colors. But there were unconfirmed rumors that a rose gold variant will also be added in the mix. The iPhone 6s Plus is also rumored to run on A9 processor.
Samsung will launch the Galaxy Note 5 on August 13th, a little bit earlier, that the usual release date of the Korea-based company due to numerous reasons, IBTimes pointed out.
Samsung used to lead the phablet arena until Apple released their iPhone 6 series last year.
