History Channel's show "Vikings" will be in its fourth season by the time it comes back to the small screen and according to reports, it will be featuring this new character named Yidu. Yidu will be linked to King Ragnar Lothbrok as the ruler of the Vikings will be captivated by her charm.
This is not the first time that King Ragnar Lothbrok will be linked to a woman as back in Season 1, he fell for Lagertha then Princess Aslaug, who has given him many sons. And in Season 3, the king was linked to the English Princes named Kwenthrith.
However, it will be a first that King Ragnar Lothbrok will be linked to a woman who has no power as Yidu's character is a slave. Yidu is played by actress Dianne Doan and the character will reportedly intrigue the King, Inquisitr reported.
According to the publication, Yidu was caught in the Red Sea then was brought to Paris to be a slave. Yidu was in Paris for the entirety of the show's season 3 but fled the area when Ragnar's group took over the city. She will, however, not be able to escape and will be claimed by the Vikings who will return to Kattegat in Season 4. In a report by IBTimes, this will intrigue Lothbrok and that's when the affair will start. Lothbrok has been very broad-minded and always wants to learn new things thus the character of Yidu will give him that opportunity.
Doan was interviewed recently and she shared, "The people of Kattegat have never seen someone like her, from her looks, to views on the world and beliefs." Dark topics will also be discussed causing them to know more about the past of Yidu in "Vikings" Season 4, Realty Today reported.
Meanwhile, it is reported that for Lothbrok's brother, Rollo, it is yet to be known if he will be able to conquer Paris and if he will win the heart of the Princess. It will reportedly be a different Rollo as he wants to be out of the limelight and the shadow of his brother King Ragnar Lothbrok.
History Channel will be showing "Vikings" Season 4 this 2016.
