Xiaomi which is now one of the fastest growing companies today is expected to unveil its latest Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 on August 13. The device will reportedly launch together with the company's new MIUI.
Recently, several leaks of the assumed Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 were circulating online. Based on the leaks, the forthcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 will feature a 5.5-inch Full HD display rendering a 401 ppi pixel density, Breathe cast reported. The idigitaltimes added a report that an octa-core chip, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage with MicroSD expansion will be included on the latest Xiaomi Redmi Note 2.
Furthermore, the Phone Arena reports that Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 measures 8.05mm thin with the weight of 159 grams. It was also said to be packed with 3100mAh cell that will keep the lights on. In addition, the site has stated that Android 5.0.2 is pre-installed in this gadget.
When it comes to its camera, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 will reportedly feature a 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel selfie camera, idigitaltimes reports. The device is also being rumoured to possibly include a metal design and fingerprint scanner for its features.
The TENAA in China has already been certified he Redmi Note 2, the report says that it will come in two versions. One will be prepared with the Snapdragon 615 SoC, while the other version said to feature the MediaTek MT6795 chipset, Phone Arena wrote.
As for its pricing concerns, the androidauthority has reported that the rumoured Xiomi Redmi Note 2 was stated to have a price tag of 799 yuan ($128) for its 32GB variant, while a price tag of 699 yuan ($112) for the handset's 16GB version.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is being anticipated to be revealed on August 13th which is the same date of Xiaomi's MIUI 7 UI will allegedly be revealed. In addition, this date is also the date where Samsung's unpacked event in New York City will be held.
