Xiaomi is reportedly launching not only one but two versions of their flagship smartphones, Xiaomi Mi5 and Xiaomi Mi5 Plus. These rumoured flagships have been claimed to come with different hardware configuration. The speculated flagships 5.2-inch Xiaomi Mi5 and a 5.7-inch Xiaomi Mi5 Plus (or Pro) are anticipated to probably launch later in the year.
The Phone Arena reports that the Xiaomi Mi 5 is anticipated to come in 5.2-inch with Snapdragon 810 SoC and a 64-bit octa-core under the hood. It will also include a 3GB or 4GB of RAM on-board. The handset's main camera was said to boast a16MP unit.
Furthermore, the Xiaomi Mi5 is also expected to equip a Quad HD (1440 x 2560) resolution display, made of 2.5-dimensional glass. It is likely to run on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system as well, focusnews stated.
Gizbot reports that a 3,500mAh battery will also come with the Xiaomi Mi5 flagship, with a quick charging feature, which lets the device to recharge charge in 50 minutes.
Other information from Phone Arena reports that Xiaomi Mi5 flagship may, or may not include a fingerprint scanner feature, but since it will arrive with a Qualcomm technology, it would not be a surprise if the Sense ID tech by its chipmakers will be seen in the Mi 5.
On the other hand, the other upcoming Xiaomi Mi 5 Plus is expected to come larger from having a 5.7-inch display along with Qualcomm's next-generation Snapdragon 820 SoC. It is also said to feature a 24MP main camera and a 13MP selfie camera, Phone Arena reported.
In addition, the site also reports that the alleged Xiomi Mi5 Plus will allegedly sport a fingerprint scanner as well as a 3500mAh battery capacity. The Gizbot site also added that it will come with a quick charge feature, where charging an empty battery to full capacity will only take 50 minutes as well.
Whereas, a report from focusnews says that he Xiaomi Mi5 Plus (Pro) will be featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip. Furthermore, the site has suggested that the Xiaomi Mi5 Plus will arrive in a 6-inch Quad HD display along with a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
There are no any official announcement about the availability of Xiaomi Mi5 and Mi5 Plus but rumor has it that it hits the market before 2015 ends.
