‘Black Mass’ Cast, Spoilers: Is Sienna Miller out as Johnny Depp’s girlfriend? Official release date set this November

By

The trailer for "Black Mass" released last July 30 and its poster showcased a crazy roster to watch out for, namely Benedict Cumberbatch, Dakota Johnson, Kevin Bacon, Corey Stoll, Jesse Plemons, Peter Sarsgaard, Joel Edgerton, and of course, the lead Johnny Depp to play as Boston crime boss Whitey Bulger.

However, rumor is saying that Sienna Miller might be cut from the film as Catherine Greig, Depp's girlfriend, according to Daily Mail. The 31-year-old actress was seen last summer in Massachusetts acting in one scene wherein she was sun bathing and resting on Depp's chest. However, as in any movie, an actor can still get cut even during post production. In Miller's case, she reportedly admitted that some of her scenes in the Oscar-nominated "Foxcatcher" were removed.

Scott Cooper's "Black Mass" is set to be part of the lineup for the Venice Film festival. Variety reported that the movie will join high-productions, such as Luca Guadagnino's "A Bigger Splash," starring Ralph Fiennes and TIlda Swinton. In the biopic, Depp's role will later become an FBI informant who will eliminate his criminal competition. Its setting was shot themed from the 1970's, to the early '90s.

Another eye-catching factor of "Black Mass" is its posters released by Warner Bros., not only featuring Johnny Depp as the main gangster, but also the star-studded cast. Bacon, Edgerton, and Cumberbatch, have already paved their way in both the critic and box office scene. Hence, their appearance is definitely to watch out for.

What is even more exciting, according to What Culture, is to watch how Johnson will go out of her image locked inside Christian Grey's Red Room, and how Plemons will have a major role after his success in "Fargo."

As of press time, critics have not given their final verdict on whether "Black Mass," to be released in November, will help Johnny Depp land an award or not.
