The South Korean giant is now being speculated for launching the latest Samsung Galaxy S7 to be equipped with a Snapdragon 820. The flagship is expected to unveil by the end of 2015, and come available in January 2016.
According to Phone Arena, the Samsung Galaxy S7 that is Codenamed "Jungfrau" could see a month or two quicker development schedule than the Galaxy S6, this is due to the improved project management process, dubbed "Agile."
Sammobile reports that a latest report from Korea stated that Samsung has decided to transform its former 'Waterfall' methodology to 'Agile' for the Galaxy S7. This method said to be capable of shortening development by up to 1 or 2 months. Moreover, the Agile methodology entails making simple beginnings in the project and constructing it up by splitting the development into modules that are finished as fast as possible.
Once the module is already complete, this will be directly evaluated, which let engineers do midway changes quickly. Conversely, the old method Waterfall follows an exact plan and whenever a module of the project gets completed it will not be allowed to change easily, IBtimes reported.
The Phone Arena also reported that the familiar industry insider who posted some leaked docs on their Weibo account suggested that Samsung is certainly gearing up the next generation Snapdragon 820 variant of the Samsung Galaxy S7.
If rumors are to be believed that Samsung will launch its Galaxy S7 early, this indicates that this flagship will be able to beat its competing brands Sony, HTC and LG, that are recognized for launching their flagships during the end of the first quarter or during the second quarter of the year.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 will reportedly ship earlier than its original schedule, as the Company employed the new Agile methodology where it's expected to make the device possibly release before the month of January next year. As a result, the upcoming flagship is now being speculated to be unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show.
