'Agents of SHIELD' season 3 is teased to have action packed episodes. The battle with Jiyiang's team has left Director Phil Coulson and his team in bad shape. Although Coulson may be armless last season finale, he will have new replacement to it. Meanwhile, Luke Mitchell is returning as series regular. It was also speculated that his character could possibly pose a threat to the team, while Lincoln Campbell and Skye relationship will have a development.
Marvel's 'Agents of SHIELD' season 2 saw the team of now Director Phil Coulson fought against a group of Inhumans led by Jiaying, Skye's mother. Although the battle was short-lived, it did end with a few casualties, and among them were Phil Coulson, according to Vine Report.
A quick recap: Agent Mack had to cut off the arm of Director Coulson in the finale episode of second season to save him form the Terrigen Cyrstal.
In an interview with Comic Book Resources, actor Clark Gregg talked about his character and Phil Coulson's team: "The thing about the Marvel Universe is, even if you don't have a hand, you can rest assured, you're going to get one. I do know that he starts off with a kind of prosthetic, and I have a feeling it's not the last prosthetic you'll see."
Meanwhile, Luke Mitchell, who plays the Inhuman named Lincoln Campbell, returns to 'Agents of SHIELD'season 3 with possible threats. According to HNGN, Lincoln will be confused on which side he will be on. And his uncertainty could pose a threat for his new friends.
In a previous interview, actor Mitchell said "I think he's in a gray area. Don't take this the wrong way, but I think he's dangerous in the sense that they don't know whether they can trust him, and I don't think he knows what to trust."
It can be remembered that Lincoln helped Skye/Daisy Johnson take control of her powers. And he sided with S.H.I.E.L.D. against Skye's mother. Additionally, Lincoln and Skye's relationship may develop next season. It is speculated that the two will enjoy more of a slow burn if they choose to take their relationship any further.
