Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire 3DS Update: GRAB Level 70 Shiny Rayquaza 'til Aug. 31; Special Sharpedo Event happening next week

The Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Shiny Rayquaza Distribution Event for 3DS is happening starting August 10 to August 31 where fans can grab a level 70 Rayquaza with 4 powerful moves and holding the Dragon Fang. Meanwhile, the Special Sharpedo Event will be held next week from August 21 to 23 to fans who will be at the Pokemon World Championship.

Trusted source Serebii has revealed that a new shiny Rayquaza distribution event for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire 3DS gamers has been confirmed for EB Games across regions Australia and New Zealand from August 10 up to August 31st. Gamers can go to a designated place in order to claim the serial code that entitles them for magnificent Rayquaza.

This dragon type Pokemon is level 70 with great moves such as Dragon Dance, Dragon Ascent, Dragon Claw and Extreme Speed as well as holding the Dragon Fang. This event, however, is yet to announced for fans in the West.

In another related news, Special Sharpedo Event is happening for those fans who will grace the Pokemon World Championships from Aug. 21 to Aug. 23. According to Nintendo Insider, fans will be awared with Sharpedo, in Mega Sharpedo form and owns the Adamant nature. Its unique moves include Aqua Jet, Crunch, Ice Fang and Destiny Bond holding a mega stone Sharpedonite.

As reported earlier, Japanese gamers are also in for some exciting treat to catch the legendary pokemons, Pikachu, Pancham, Latios and Lugia, IB Times wrote. The announced events for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire in Japan are the following:

Ash's Pikachu - Available from 24 August to 30 August, 2015
Serena's Pancham - Available from 17 August to 23 August, 2015
Latios - Available from 31 August to 6 September, 2015
Lugia - Available from 7 September to 13 September, 2015
