'The Good Wife' stars Julianna Margulies' who plays Alicia Florrick, and Archie Panjabi's as Kalinda Sharma have been making the headlines with their final scene together for the finale of season six. 'The Good Wife' drama series has had fans anxiously waiting for the finale of season six. Fans are left in suspense on how the season would finish after Archie Panjabi's previously announced that she would be leaving the show after 6 long years.

According to Eonline, it was during season four that both actresses stopped appearing in scenes together. Mid way through the fourth season, fans noticed the sudden separation of both Julianna Margulies and Archie Panjabi from the The Good Wife. This being so, the lead up to the finale ending was intense as both Julianna Margulies and Archie Panjabi were to work together in the same scene.

In a report from Deadline, it was the first time after a while that Julianna Margulies and Archie Panjabi shared a scene together on The Good Wife due to reported personal issues between the two. Though the finale showed characters Alicia Florrick and Kalinda Sharma sharing a sweet scene at a bar, the two actually never came face to face.

The Celebrity Auction reported the scene was all CGIed, meaning that neither Julianna Margulies nor Archie Panjabi came face to face and they were filmed separately at different times. Knowing that the scene was CGIed, fans have become more intrigued on what really happened between the co stars.

CBS boss Nina Tassler was asked on her opinion of how the finale was shot but made little comment. However she did state in an interview that the finale scene for both Julianna and Archie was a very satisfying ending for the relationship between the two characters, and later on stressed the point that 'movie magic' was what made the finale so good.

Archie Panjabi has officially left the cast of The Good Wife and won't be returning for season seven. However Julianna Margulies will continue her role as Alicia Florrick alongside some new cast members. The story will continue as 'The Good Wife' returns on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 9 p.m. on CBS.
