At the recently held Dead or Alive Festival, Team NINJA has just announced the latest news updates regarding "Dead or Alive 5 Last Round." One of the biggest surprises that they have revealed for the fans of the franchise is new DLC by next year. Aside from bringing a new game character, they will also be adding up a new stage in the game.
As of press time, it is still unknown as to which game version will get these new DLCs. But based on Shoryuken's opinion, it is possible that the arcade version will have these new content first, with the home console versions to follow suit after a few months of its release.
Koei gives us the details on the new "Dead or Alive 5 Last Round" DLC as stated in Gematsu. In the update version 1.04 last August 11, the "Fireworks" stage was added, alongside game balance fixes, and the costume pack "Lovely Summer Costume 2015," which will only be available for PlayStation 4.
The major update will be released by spring next year. Here, a new stage and a new character will be added to the content.
As for the collaborations made in Dead or Alive 5 Last Round, these will be showcased by next month as the game will have costume downloadable content based on Nihon Falcom's Falcom games such as Trails in the Sky and The Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki.
Come October, the "Everyone's Halloween Costume" will be released as its costume downloadable content. By November, "Dead or Alive 5 Last Round" will be getting costume from Square Enix's Schoolgirl Strikers. As for next year, the game gets costume DLC that is based on the characters from Tatsunoko Production.
In other news, Yosuke Hasashi of Team NINJA has just announced that "Dead or Alive Xtreme 3" is now being developed exclusively for Asian markets, including Japan. There aren't any announcements yet regarding a Western release for the said title, as reported by PlayStationLifestyle.Net.
