There wasn't any latest news or updates regarding Gran Turismo lately, yet there is a possibility that gamers don't need to wait a long time for the game's next series installment. Game creator Kazunori Yamauchi expressed in an interview that they might release Gran Turismo 7 for Playstation 4 before 2017.
Regarding the exact launch date, Yamauchi was quoted by GameSpot saying, "People will not wait so much...We are talking about Gran Turismo, we must not wait so long." It can be recalled that Yamauchi have stated in an interview back in 2014 that he said that GT7 is "going to be a game that matches the very era that we live in, in 2015 or 2016." From this statement alone, it is possible that the game will be available some time later next year.
Yamauchi also discussed in an interview about Gran Turismo 7's impact physics and collisions, and added that game developer Polyphony is working seriously on the impact simulation, to solve problems encountered while playing the other entries in the game series.
Aside from this, Yamauchi lets us in on the information that GT7 will be featuring more premium cars of higher detail on car parts, headlights, and interiors. As previously reported, aside from high-end cars to be added on the game, there will be better sound quality and impressive graphics to boot that game developer Polyphony Digital is currently working on.
Based on an article that was written about GT 7 and its absence in the E3 2015, GT's absence at the said game conference might bring about consequences to the series. Veni Vidi Vici noted that GT's lack of regular updates might lessen its brand importance. With the competition series Forza moving forward, GT gets left behind. The delay of the release, according to the article, could be because of internal development issues encountered by the development team. They state that delaying the release of GT 7 might be bad for it eventually, and that Project CARS might be way ahead of GT 7.
The game series fan are assuming that GT 7 will be released in autumn next year for PlayStation 4.
