The Middle Earth-themed setting of Mount & Blade Bannerlord is one that strikes intrigue into the hearts of the franchise's loyal fans. New additions and improvements regarding the game-in-the-works were recently discussed by the developers, Taleworlds.

As recently reported by PC Gamer, the Mount & Blade Bannerlord mod development society is a big one at the most part. Taleworlds' Founder, Armagan Yavuz, stated in an interview that there are new and awesome tools that game mod enthusiasts can utilize for a truly enjoyable gaming experience. Yavuz declared that multiple mods of the game can be used all at once, and players can customize them as well according to their preference.

Yavuz was also quoted, "The new engine that we have is so much easier to work with for modders. We have things like the terrain editor, the scene editor, etc. Those are much improved. They will give greater tools for modders. Also, our scripting system is now using .NET, so players will be able to write in C#. It is going to be much easier for them to create mods." That being said, the game engine of Bannerlord can provide versatility and more options for players who wish to put their mods to good use.

In relation to the game progress, a new footage was released recently, according to Geeky Gadgets. Most of the video contents showcased the work in progress, and more in-game features that players are to take note of. More importantly, weapons are also found in the said footage.

The Mount & Blade Bannerlord footage contains glimpses of siege weapons, as recently delivered by Vg247. These can be taken full control of, by both the AI and the actual players of the game. A deployment screen within the game, to designate the desired positioning of the said weapons. One nifty feature is that orders can be revised even as a battle is happening just in case there was a misconception about the terrains.

Furthermore, villages and castles are now said to be integrated and easily manageable. Projects given to players regarding construction, inventories, refurbishing of weapons and more features are certainly enough to lure the players into the new propositions of the game.

As great as the features may be, Mount & Blade Bannerlord has no release date yet to behold. PC gamers must stay tuned for more news about the up and coming action role-playing game.
