Tekken 7 game director and chief producer Katsuhiro Harada is coming to Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2015 next month as EVO 2015 runner- up. From Japan, Harada is heading to Europe to join the largest Tekken tournament in France in October. Bandai Namco has been quiet for some time now about the console version of Tekken 7 and fans are waiting for new announcements on its development.
After its arcade release, it's been confirmed that Tekken 7 will also make its way to the PS4 and Xbox One consoles. According to some reports, Harada is encouraging fans to give some feedback on its arcade version to make sure that bugs and other issues are fixed before it will reach the consoles. Tekken 7 is in now North America at selected Dave&Busters and Round One arcades.
Some are also hoping that an announcement will be made at the upcoming TGS 2015 next month as Harada is coming at the said event. The Tekken 7 game director confirmed his attendance when a fan asked Harada on Twitter if he is going to TGS 2015.
Via his Twitter account, he replied, "Of course I'll go there." Bandai Namco, the Developer of Tekken 7, is one of the exhibitors at TGS in the past showcasing dozens of the their console games, smartphone games, and a couple of their browser games.
The largest Tekken tournament in France is also nearing and fans are hoping that an announcement about the new game will made. The Ultimate Tournament XVI (UTXVI) will be held in Pourrieres, France on October 17 this year, Attack of the Fanboy reports.
This is expected to be a big event for Tekken 7 in Europe and the competition is said to be the strongest it has ever been for this time around as "Europe will have to pool its players together to defend their turf against the incoming Japanese, Korean, American, and even Venezuelan players coming in to take home the victory."
Avoiding the Puddle reports that BlackEye AO from Japan which won 3rd place at EVO 2014 and runner-up at EVO 2015 will also join the said event.
Tekken 7 was released at arcades in Japan on February this year. Fans are hoping that a release date for the Xbox One and PS4 console versions of the game will be revealed next month at Tokyo Game Show 2015. Anything is possible.
