The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashian' star, Kim Kardashian recently took to Twitter to rant about gun control. The 34 year old who is currently pregnant with her second child, started ranting on Twitter last Wednesday evening. Though Kim is known for making a fuss over small things, this time it wasn't the pregnancy hormones kicking in. Kim's passionate rant had a purpose and a story behind it.
According to a report from Yahoo, Kim used her personal Twitter account that has over 34 million followers to her advantage last Wednesday when she started tweeting serious issues about gun control and how 'laws need to change.'
The reality TV star surprisingly had a strong view on the issues and felt like she needed to voice out her thoughts and opinions. During Kim Kardashian's rant, other celebrities took the time to retweet Kim's tweet and quoted what good valid points the 34 year old was making.
In a report from Eonline, the Kardashian queen's tweets surfaced after she heard reports of a brutal killing that included 6 children. David Conley is being accused of multiple murders after killing his on off girlfriend, her common law husband, and her 6 minor children which included his own 13 year old son. Each person was shot in the head after he broke into their home, and shot them with a gun he had purchased online.
After hearing the news, Kim felt she had to say something, and that's exactly what she did. Kim tweeted three tweets on Twitter regarding the devastating news, one tweet stated "He purchased the gun & ammo ONLINE! How is it so easy to purchase guns online!!! Does this not sicken you? No background checks needed!!!!!" And shortly after tweeted again, "These gun safety laws have to change! This poor woman was tied up & saw every child of hers & husband get executed over 10 hours!"
Thousands of Kim's followers retweeted the tweet helping spread the word across the world. Though Kim kardashian could only voice out her opinion, she was able to give her followers a clear insight of how gun laws in America need to change.
