"Spectre" Update: A New Video Blog For The Bond Movie Which Introduced Was Released The Bond Women Léa Seydoux and Monica Bellucci

By

A brand new "Spectre" video blog was released by EON Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Sony Pictures Entertainment where characters of Léa Seydoux and Monica Bellucci the lustrously European femme fatales who appear in the 24th James Bond installment were introduced.

Starring opposite Daniel Craig, 50-year-old Italian screen icon Monica Bellucci (The Matrix Reloaded) is the oldest actress to portray a so-called Bond girl in the 53-year-old film franchise. She describes her character, Lucia Sciarra, as a widow with secrets. Explaining her character, she says: "Her Mafioso husband is killed. And she risks the same thing happening to her." At a funeral, Lucia looks glam yet baleful in black mourning dress and netted veil while making time for a private rendezvous with Bond.

On her role as Madeleine Swann, daughter of Bond's old nemesis Mr White (Jesper Christensen), Léa Seydoux says: "She's a doctor, she's intelligent and very sensitive..."

Director Sam Mendes says in the clip: "In "Spectre," both the women he hooks up with have great mystery. They both have depths. And I just thought, Monica Bellucci: It makes sense for the story. It makes sense for the ages of the characters we're dealing with. And she's an incredibly seductive presence in life and in the movie."

Meanwhile, Mars VFX have used some clever digital trickery to put Moore in Daniel Craig's shoes in the most recent Bond promo. After Pierce Brosnan came back as Bond in a recut of the Spectre trailer, Moore's tenure was showcased in the recent Spectre trailer when a helicopter executes a mid-air corkscrew spin mirroring "The Man with the Golden Gun's" famous car stunt.

Sam Mendes returns to direct "Spectre," with Daniel Craig reprising his role as 007 for the fourth time. Mendes has revealed that he does not want to make any more 007 films after the next installment, which comes out in October.

The plot involves a cryptic message from Bond's past that sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. Spectre will open in the US on November 6 and in the UK on October 26.
