Rihanna has been romantically linked to Karim Benzema, Lewis Hamilton and most recently, to Mempis Grizzlies player Matt Barnes. Before the rumors take its round on the internet, the "American Oxygen singer" knocks off everything that has something to do with the basketball star in the social media.
Rumors that the Rihanna and Barnes are dating were heard early this week. "Basketball Wives LA" star and soon-to-be former wife of Barnes, Gloria Govan told TMZ that the two have already dated two times in the past. She reportedly has no problem his ex-husband, dating RiRi as long as he would get some concert tickets for her upcoming gigs.
"Bitch better have my tickets," says Govan. Things allegedly stepped a gear when Barnes, 35, told the same website that there's a big chance for him and Rihanna to be together in the coming days. Are they a couple? The basketball veteran claimed that at the moment he and Rihanna are just friends, but "we'll see where it goes."
For sure Rihanna also didn't appreciate it when he told the site that they already have passed the "crush stage," INQUISTR reports. He made the singer more stressed when he said that playing for Memphis won't affect them since Rihanna is "rich" and it won't harm their relationship.
Soon after Barnes interview with the site circulated online, Rihanna, 27, defended herself on the fake claim of the basketball player. Rihhana re-posted his video interview on Instagram and immediately called the attention of Barnes with he following hashtags:
"#bishwhere #thedevilisaliar #shesnotthatintoyou #shesnotintoyouatall #shesneverevenmetyou #thisactuallyhurtmyfeelings #defamationofcharacter."
Replying to Rihanna's post, Barnes wrote, "hahaaa wow, " according to E! News.
Earlier, Barnes, publicly flaunted his affection for Rihanna on the social media. The veteran NBA star made the singer his WCW (woman crush Wednesday and flirted with her on Twitter.
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old "BBHMM" singer was seen dating Hamilton on a yacht on weekends. They were also together celebrating the annual Grand Kadooment Day carnival in Barbados earlier this month. What can you say about Barnes claiming that he and Rihanna were dating?
