There's one award that fans are looking forward to each and every year at the Teen Choice Awards. Fans are actually more excited to know the Choice Movie Liplock nominees. From Twilight's Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's locking of lips to The Hunger Games' Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson steamy kiss. But for this year's winner, "The Fault in Our Stars" duo Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort bagged the award.
The Teen Choice Awards concluded last August 16, Sunday, gave its much- awaited surf boards to the brightest stars onstage and onscreen, as mentioned in TV Line. Twenty separate awards were handed out to TV shows and stars this year, including the highly-anticipated category of Choice TV Liplock.
Ludacris, Gina Rodriguez, and Josh Peck hosted the star-studded event that featured musical performances from famous artists in different genres. However, at the end of the day it is all about the awards, voted on by fans on the Teen Choice Awards website or on social media.
As reported by International Business Times, the nominees for Hottest Liplock are the following: The Duff's Robbie Amell and Mae Whitman. The Hot Pursuit's Sofia Vergara and Reese Witherspoon are also nominated by fans.
The Age of Adaline's Blake Lively and Michiel Huisman, Insurgent's Shailene Woodley and Theo James were nominated for the category. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1's Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth and Pitch Perfect 2's Rebel Wilson and Adam DeVine also made the list.
Accordingly, this year's winner of Choice Movie Liplock are stars Ansel Elgort and Shailene Woodley. The onscreen couple won for playing the role of Augustus Waters and Hazel Grace Lancaster in the movie "The Fault in Our Stars".
Way back in 2013, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart gathered up their third win for the "Twilight" series. According to HollywoodLife, Teen Choice Awards 2013 Movie Liplock was bagged by the former "Twi-couple" following their wins in 2010 and 2009.
Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson, also known as Katniss and Peeta, beat Rob and Kristen in 2012. Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe did the same in 2011 for Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows - Part 1.
The Teen Choice Award also suggested to eager fans that they just have to tune in on their official site for the TCA nominees and award winners, including the much- awaited Liplock award winner. Meanwhile, fans are reportedly checking back and forth from the official site since its is still updating the list of nominees and winners.
