Musician Azealia Banks recently admitted that she will be prohibited from releasing her new music for the next eight months. The controversial Harlem MC took to Twitter and updated her fandom about her current situation, telling them not to expect so much of any new music release before March 2016.

According to Hiphopdx, the release will not be possible due to a management contract problem, Harlem, singer and rapper Azealia Banks will not be able to release any new music until March 2016.

According to the artist, her manager who no longer wants to work with the rapper is holding her to an album contract, which ends in February 2016.

Banks informed fans of her current status in a number of messages she flooded on her Twitter account last week. "So prospect park has me for management and Label (stupid azealia, right) now Jeff Kwatinetz no longer wants to manage me BUT...is holding me in my album contract until february 2016. so..... there won't be any new music until March 2016. sorry guys," she wrote in two separate tweets sent on August 6.

The Harlem MC also talked about bad decision making and the learning experience she gained from the incident. "Pain from the game... i guess i was so desperate to get my album out that i took a bad business deal.. oh well, the months will fly by," she typed.

Azealia Banks also expressed how she regrets having bad decisions in choosing her business partners, saying, " I really bad at choosing business partners LOL."

The singer slash rapper's launching album Broke With Expensive Taste came out in November 2014. After the debut album, no new music release will be expected from the artist.
