Tom Clancy's The Division Update: Ubisoft title receives mixed opinions from players at Gamescom; 1 Dark Zone for PVP confirmed

Some fans of Tom Clancy's The Division who have been at Gamescom in Germany expresssed about what they thought of the most awaited open world third-person shooter role-playing video game after trying the title at Ubisoft booth. There were those who got disappointed while others have enjoyed and look forward to its official launch next year.

A staff of Moviepilot interviewed several people who got their hands on Tom Clancy's The Division playable demo at Gamescom last week and gave a picture of how it looks like at theUbisoft booth.

"The queues for The Division, even on Press Day, were unbelievable. Everyone was dying to try out the game that Ubisoft has been hyping for years!," the staff said.

He also had a chance to interview some of them for two successive days where he got comments from disappointed fans who were quoted saying, "The mode I played was actually really boring" and "I didn't like the interface and the gunplay just didn't feel very responsive. They really need to make a lot more modes for this game."

However, he got positive remarks from other fans who thought that the game was superb and said, "What an awesome game! I'm so hyped for 2016!" And there's one who obviously had a great time who exclaimed, "I destroyed every motherf&%§$? in there!"

However, overall, a lot of the people they have interviewed were disappointed. It is understandable though, as the game is still unfinished and the demo of Tom Clancy's The Division that was shown at E3 this year was also the same demo that was featured at Gamescom, so, there are literally "no new surprises."

Joshua Ball of Startreplay, on the other hand, believes that the game has a massive amount of potential and shown a lot of promise. But he's crossing his fingers while saying that he's "a little apprehensive of how the full game will turn out."

Finally, reports about the PvP feature which is known as the Dark Zone is one of the biggest questions of fans and whether or not there will be more than one Dark Zone in the game. This question was answered by Ubisoft on it latest Community Q&A video.

The Eaxaminer quotes The Division Junior Gameplay Programmer Adabelle Combrink about the Dark Zone saying, "There is one Dark Zone, one...awesome Dark Zone in the middle of Manhattan, it's very big. What we saw in the E3 demo is just one area, a small slice of the Dark Zone around Bryant Park..."

After several delays, Tom Clancy's The Division which is bound to hit PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms is now set to launch on March 8, 2016.
