Because of the wild cageside brawl at the WSOF 22 on August 1 with Khabib Nurmagomedov, the Diaz brothers, and other random people, the Diaz brothers were banned from all events. However, Nurmagomedov realized that he shouldn't have taken part of the tension, though he said it was hard not to be involved.

Tensions have been high just a few days at the World Series of Fighting (WSOF) 22: "Palhares versus Shields" event in Las Vegas, Nevada. According to MMA Core, the fight on NBC Sports took place cageside between the fight camps for UFC Lightweights Nate Diaz and Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Diaz and Nurmagomedov exchanged unpleasant words with each other, with the former purportedly thrown a punch at the latter. The brawl forced the security to stop the tension building between both camps. But just when the situation seemed to have calmed down, Nick Diaz threw a bottle of beer at Nurmagomedov. This eventually caused Nurmagomedov to react again, causing too much apprehension.

As reported, WSOF Vice President Ali Abdel-Aziz joined the security to stop the brawl. The Vice President then, issued a lifetime ban on the Diaz brothers. Abdel- Aziz claimed, "I can't have Nick and Nate come to a World Series of Fighting event again. I like these guys, but if they're not going to show me respect coming to the show, how can I let them back in? You've just got to be more professional in MMA. "

In fact, Nate Diaz and Nurmagomedov have had some words thrown into each other in the past, so the incident may not come as a huge surprise to some fans as mentioned by MMA Frenzy. Nurmagomedov even stated, "You saw how I dominate Dos Anjos, and he smash these guys like jokes. So, these guys need to shut up and train."

And now, Nurmagomedov reacted about the brawl at WSOF 22. "You know, fights happen between men. It's OK. It's normal. Sometimes it happens." Nurmagomedov admitted on MMAjunkie on Saturday. "But you know what? I'm a professional fighter. I'm a UFC fighter. I'm here at a very big show in Las Vegas. Lot of people here. Lot of women here. Lot of kids here," he explained.

He also said that he tried not to fight Diaz on his first attempt to create tension. However, Nurmagomedov confessed that the Diaz brothers kept irritating him and trying to provoke him. He even stated, "When he began the second time, I went crazy too." he said. " ... I have to protect myself."

Meanwhile, Nurmagomedov is recovering following his knee surgery and the Diaz Brothers never commented ever since the brawl. But surely, Vice President continued to ban the brothers from all other World Series of Fighting events.
