FKA Twigs surprised her fans in her latest music video which has recently been released. The video which is 16 minutes long reveals FKA Twigs being pregnant and eventually giving birth to a doll. The 27 year old singer showed off her artistic ways during the latest music video 'M3LL155X' which includes old and new songs, and a strong point which she wanted to voice out.
In a report from Metro UK, FKA twigs latest music video is a whopping 16 minutes long! FKA Twigs surprised her fans with a new EP 'M3LL155X' which is made up of 5 different tracks. The 16 minute video is to accompany her 5 tracks that included re-releases and new songs such as 'I'm Your Doll,' and 'Mothercreep.'
Apparently during the video FKA Twigs can be seen in white pyjamas that are opened from the bottom exposing a pregnant stomach. The singer who is known for her artsy clothes and different styles also promoted this in her video where she is seen 'going through labour' as multicoloured paint pours down her legs.
In another report from Just Jared, the singer can be seen giving birth to a scarf which turns into an inflatable doll. Apparently some footage from the lengthy music video includes clips from her previous songs that are included in the 5 tracks such as 'Glass & Patron' which was released earlier this year.
According to NME, FKA Twigs was the one that created the idea of the video and directed it; she also named her latest project as "personal female energy." The singer who ensures she's in control of her music and her image doesn't take notice of anyone else's opinions, and is happy doing things the way she does.
FKA Twigs recently stated in an interview that her idea for the video was to produce more openly female energy, hence why she wanted to be pregnant. The video has caught the attention of many including celebrities such as Katy Perry who thinks that 'M3LL155X,' code name for Melissa is absolutely amazing.
