‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’ Updates: Details on the New Beta Run, Combat Movement Tutorial Video Revealed

By

Twitter users have posted their questions about Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, and Treyarch's design director, David Vonderhaar, gave in a few details about the game and tried to answer some of them to the best of his ability.

One of the questions that was asked was about the old weapons and maps in the previous series installations and if they will be brought again by the development team. He just said that they are not dismissing the idea of doing that but at this moment, he considers it easier said than done.

Vonderhaar also mentioned some info about the game characters noting that the specialists will be gated by level and will be unlocked by using tokens. He also adds that all characters will have their progression, as noted by Gaming Bolt.

It isn't confirmed yet though whether there will be a level cap or not during the beta as Vonderhaar only answered "yes and no" when asked about it, and he wouldn't give in more details about the dev team's plans about the beta run.

As of this moment, there isn't any clear details yet about the story plot of Call of Duty Black Ops 3. Dan Bunting of Treyarch states in an interview with the Examiner that this new installment will not be any different from the previous ones having a dark theme. He states, "we get to be in the dark underbelly of military operations and that is a fun theme to play with. It plays into our strengths as developers, we like the darker themes, we like living in the gray area, not so black and white or good and bad. That is something that is uniquely Treyarch." Bunting also adds that there are surprises awaiting the players of Black Ops 3 that gamers will keep talking about for months.

Treyarch has also showed a video teaser of a combat movement tutorial for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. The video that was shared in International Business Times showcases a more definite way of fighting involved in the game. There will be an action packed gameplay experience with reverse direction actions, direction changes while being in mid-air, and wall runs just to name a few.

The beta run will be available in August 19 but the full game launches in November for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC. It should be noted though that any progress made in the beta run will not will not be carried over in the full game. Activision promises to bring in a beta with a lot of great content but they wanted to inform the gamers that it is still far from being a complete game.

Those who wanted to have access to the beta run should have a beta access code to play it. Players may preorder the game for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC from online stores.
