Singer actress Demi Lovato has always been one to openly admit her flaws; constantly being in the eye of the public and media, the 23 year old has been the target of critics over her body and weight. Over the years Demi has suffered loads of body issues, from gaining to losing weight, the 'Camp Rock' star has suffered bullying, depression, and drug addiction. After admitting that she used to hate every inch of her body, Demi Lovato recently revealed that she's finally happy with herself and her figure.
In a report from Eonline, Demi Lovato opened up on her latest cover shoot for Cosmopolitan in an interview. She stated that it had took her a long time to be comfortable enough with her body to do a shoot like she did with the famous magazine. She went on explaining that for her; the shoot tells a story of her journey, and how she's come from hating every inch of her body, to loving herself and feeling confident enough to strip down to her underwear.
Another report by the Daily Mail UK stated that Demi is feeling the most sexiest she has in a long time. Demi also mentioned that after going through her rough patches she felt like she was making 'more of a statement than just looking sexy on a magazine cover.' The 23 year old has learned to love herself, her body, and by stepping up and doing the daring photo shoot, she now has all the confidence in the world.
According to US Magazine, it's not just Demi working on herself that has made her as confident as she is; it's also been the love and support from her long time boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama that's given her the boost. Demi also explained in an interview that her boyfriend makes her feel confident and beautiful, and with all the support he has given her, she's been able to come back out of her shell.
Over the years, the once Disney star has battled through her different issues, and is finally confident and loves who she is. With her newest cover shoot with Cosmopolitan coming out in September, the star is proud of the progress she has made, and wants her fan to see that if she can do it, they can too.
