The anticipation will now end soon for World of Warcraft players as the game's 6.2.2 patch will soon be available. The said patch will be released this coming September 1, offering new additions and changes in the game.
One of the major additions in World of Warcraft Warlords of Draenor patch 6.2.2 is the PvP Mercenary Mode. This feature will help the players to fight against their previous allies, and enable them to retain their skills and abilities, and also their gear, reports PC Games N.
Flight has been added too to the Warlords of Draenor, which came off as a surprise to the players as IB Times recalls that there had been an announcement last November that flying wouldn't be returned in the game. Because of the players' unimpressed response to this, flying has been reconsidered by Blizzard and will be added to the patches towards the end of the expansion cycles.
For the non-PvPers, there were changes made in the Timewalking feature such as additional rewards in the form of badges. The new vendors will be selling new toys and mounts, in addition to the gear which scales up to the character's level upon purchase.
Aside from the release of World of Warcraft patch 6.2.2, Blizzard will also be releasing the patch for Diablo 3 by next week, after the patch for Heroes of the Storm was made available this week. Blizzard Watch notes though that it is very unlikely for the game company to release their patch dates in advance, but there's a possibility that the release date was announced ahead of time due to their patch release schedules for this month.
