The Geordie Shore star, Marnie Simpson has denied all split rumours of her and fiancé Ricky Rayment. Rumours started flying the minute after the 23 year old British model was seen partying with another man without her wedding ring. As the rumours spread, fans of the couple starting panicking whether the engagement was really off, and if Marnie had already found herself another man. Once Marnie Simpson heard what was going on she immediately took to twitter to straighten things out.
According to Now Magazine, the young couple that have been together for around 8 months, and engaged for 2 months, were rumoured to have called their wedding and engagement off after Marnie was seen parting without her wedding ring. While Marnie was spotted enjoying a night out without her ring, she was also spotted dancing with a man that no one knew off. Things got worse as the 23 year old later on posted that night on twitter, "Everything happens for a reason," followed with a sad emoji face.
Closer Online reported that Ricky Reyment also took to twitter tweeting a sad emoji face followed by a tweet that he was 'feeling fragile.' Rumour has it, only a few weeks before Marnie was spotted partying, she gave hints that she would be leaving Geordie Shore to spend more time with future hubby Ricky. With all the drama going on, fans were left confused and devastated at the possible split.
However OK! UK reported that the two have not split and Marnie Simpson was simply enjoying a night out with an old time friend. To clear the rumours, the model took to twitter again stating that she was only catching up with a very close male friend of hers, and that she had left her engagement ring at home due to the risk of losing it.
The whole split issues spiralled out of control, and after Marnie Simpson confirming that she and Ricky Reyment have not split, fans can finally relax and continue supporting their favourite love team. To date there have been no wedding dates given, but seeing as the couple are the type to quickly progress with their relationship, it wouldn't come as a surprise if wedding bells soon start ringing.
