Emma Watson is the new ‘Princess Belle’ for Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Musical; Pictures of Emma as Belle revealed

The famous 'Harry Potter' star, Emma Watson has made a name for herself after the 'Happy Potter' series. The stunning 25 year old actress has starred in numerous movies over the year which has proven her amazing acting abilities. In her latest project, Watson will be playing the role of 'Belle' in 'Beauty and the Beast' which will be a live action musical. Though the musical isn't set to start showing until 2017, the first sneak peak pictures of Emma as Belle have been released.

According to Teen Vogue, Emma Watson will be starring as Princess Bella in the upcoming Disney musical, Beauty and the Beast. Being a musical, Watson will be singing different songs from the musical fantasy fairytale that have previously won two Oscars for original score and original song.

In another report from Twist Magazine, the first images of Watson as Princess Belle were released over the weekend. It was during the Disney's D23 expo on Saturday, August 15th, that the world got the first glimpse of the real life Princess Belle. Critics and fans are going crazy on how beautiful Watson looked in her bright yellow gown.

MTV also reported that Watson will be joined by actor Dan Stevens who will be playing the role of 'Beast.' Other actors include Emma Thompson, Ian McKellen and Ewan McGregor. The musical was written by Stephen Chbosky, the same writer who wrote the novel turned movie 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower' which Emma Watson starred in as one of the main characters in 2012.

Bill Condon will be directing the musical which is scheduled to officially open in theatres on March 17th, 2017. The musical theatre is expected to be in 3D.

Though 2017 is still a long way off, much more can be expected from Emma Watson over the months as she prepares her journey as Princess Belle for her upcoming role.
