Filming for The Huntsman is currently underway, and Chris Hemsworth has been photographed wearing leather suit and playing with his axe during break time. The actor also says he feels lucky to star alongside the actresses in the cast. Meanwhile, reports have surfaced that the upcoming film might include a death of one character after a funeral was set.
Photos of Hemsworth during filming was revealed online and show the actor in his medieval leather suit. As reported by Daily Mail, the actor was also seen wearing a brown hairpiece in the set, while he plays with his dangerous axe prop.
Although details about the plot are scarce, however along with Hemsworth, Charlize Theron is also expected to reprise her role as the evil Queen Ravenna. Also, the upcoming film is also reported to serve as a prequel to the 2012 movie, Snow White and the Huntsman, which starred Kristen Stewart for the lead role.
Moreover, Wells Journal reported that the upcoming film might feature the death of a character after a funeral was set in The Bishop's Palace. But unfortunately, the identity of the dead character was not revealed and might only be revealed when the movie finally hits theaters.
Meanwhile, Hemsworth who plays the titular role revealed how lucky he feels to star alongside great actresses Emily Blunt, Theron, and Jessica Chastain. As reported by Cineplex, the actor said "It was a great script, but I wasn't sure if people wanted to see me in that role, or see me at all,"
"Then all of a sudden Jessica Chastain, Charlize Theron and Emily Blunt jumped on board and I went, oh wow. I mean, I feel lucky to be a part of that group. I'll just sit in the background and hopefully some of that talent rubs off on me!" he later added.
Details are currently scarce, but more details are expected to be announced as it nears its release in theaters. The Huntsman is directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan and written by Frank Darabont, Craig Mazin, Evan Spiliotopoulos. It is expected to hit theaters in April 22, 2016.
