While just releasing the Galaxy Note 5 mid this month, Samsung is now reported to release another killer phablet in the name of Galaxy Note 5 Active that would surely take the tech department its forehead to the ground with the rumored specs, near release date and price details.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Active is slated for a November 8, 2015 release making it the fifth flagship mobile device of the South Korean tech titan to come out this year. Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge were released last March during the Mobile World Congress 2015 in Belgium taking the event by storm. While Galaxy S6 Edge+ alongside Galaxy Note 5 were launched this month at Samsung's 2015 unpacked event.
Galaxy Note 5 Active's specs meanwhile are getting a popular attention right now because a killer 4,100 mAh battery is said to power up the phablet. According to reports surfacing, this mighty battery feature is supposed to support the Galaxy Note 5 Active's Quad HD display. The Galaxy Note 5, Note 4, Note Edge, and the rest of the Note devices only rock a 3,000 mAh battery which means the reported 4,000 mAh battery is huge leap for the brand.
Galaxy Note 5 Active also is said to rock an IP68 rating, enabling the device to be resistant from dust and water of up to 1.5 meters deep for 30 minutes. It might also be shock resistant featuring a US Mil-STD-810G rating which allows the device to withstand humidity, vibration, high altitude, and extreme temperatures.
The Note 5 Active phablet might also rock a dual-SIM variant in select regions following patterns of its predecessor. The upcoming device is also reported to have base price of US $350 for its 32 GB model.
However, a reliable tipster of a tech site noted that the Galaxy Note 5 Active will most likely be made for exclusive distribution of AT&T just like the Galaxy S6 Active.
Reports have no closure from Samsung though as of now. All leaks and predictions should be taken with a grain of salt unless otherwise company issues official announcement.
