Avril Lavigne's fans are upset about a Tumblr post displaying Taylor Swift's "Meet and Greet" photos versus Avril Lavigne's meet and greet photos. And later on, the songstress explained via Twitter about the picture comparison.

According to reports by Just Jared, the Tumblr post in question showed Taylor Swift looking very friendly with her fans, while artists like Avril Lavigne, Katy Perry and more artists seemed very distant with their fans. The pop star reportedly "liked" the post on her personal Tumblr account.

"Comparison is judging and judging a person does not define who they are it defines who you are. We all Love our fans," the singer wrote on her Twitter account. She also added that fans should just stay positive by stating, "So let's keep it all about the love and stay positive."

Just last year, Lavigne was also rumored to be very distant with her supporters. According to Perez Hilton celebrity news site, die- hard fans were not allowed to touch Avril Lavigne after spending hundreds for a special "Meet & Greet". The pop-punk rocker was accused of demanding that her fans should stop touching her during a concert in Brazil.

Reports also claimed that "Little Black Stars", Lavigne's fandom, spent 800 reals or about $US400 to be brought backstage to meet their idol. But surprisingly, they were allegedly just allowed to say "hey" then take a quick photo with her. But the fans said that they were instructed to get the f-k off before meeting the star. However, Lavigne posted a collage of pictures of her fans on her Instagram page. The picture was a proof that the "no touching" rule report was completely a hoax.

Buzzfeed also mentioned a comparison between Avril Lavigne and Rihanna's "Meet & Greet", showing the difference between how the two stars treat their fans. The website claimed that Lavigne's fans look like they're dying inside when they were ruled out not to touch her. And they also mentioned that Rihanna has the best meet and greet pictures since her fans were allowed to touch her and in turn, she can also touch them.

The picture comparison between Lavigne and Swift was later on liked by Calvin Harris' love. But she has not yet responded to the pop- punk artist's Twitter post. Meanwhile, amidst the "Meet & Greet" photo comparisons, "Swifties" and "Little Black Stars" are speculating that this will eventually lead to another Twitter feud between the two singers.
