Samsung's gigantic tablet with18.4 inches display and 0.46 inch thick will be launched soon

Samsung is currently creating its largest tablet which will feature 18.4 inches display, 17.78 inches wide, 10.85 inches tall, and 0.46 inch thick. There are details about some of its specs such as a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, Exynos 7580 processor, and a 5,700 mAh battery. The Android-based tablet has a code name of Tahoe.

SamMobile said that the new Samsung tablet has a model number of SM-T670. The report added that it will run in Android 5.1 Lollipop. It will offer a high image quality due to its screen that is consists of TFT LCD with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixel. Further, the tablet will come with octa-core 64-bit 1.6GHz Exynos 7580 processor which will ensure faster response to programs and applications.

Related report added that Samsung will ensure a full pack memory for the new tablet aside from its large display. The 18.4 inches tablet will have 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, and a micro SD card slot that is expandable for up to 128GB. It will also have a 5,700 mAh battery for longer battery life. In addition, the new tablet will deal an 8-megapixel front camera and a 2.1-megapixel rear camera.

More so, SAmMobile said that the tablet can work in Windows 10 and come with an S Pen for better use.

It is possible that the new tablet will be released by September, according to CNET. Samsung is holding an event yearly for IFA electronics, a major industry trade event.

The smartphone company has been releasing tablets that gain attraction in the market. It is known that the company released its first tablet in 2010 with 7 inches display and released its recent tablet in 2014 with Galaxy Tab S 10.5.

Samsung has no comment about the aforementioned specifications and features. The company did not also confirm the exact release date of the gigantic tablet.
