'The Flash' Season 2 Update: Premiere Date Released; Did Someone Break Into The STAR Lab?

By

The first set photo of "The Flash" was released on the show's official Twitter page and it showed how everyone looked tense as well as the new suit of the much-loved superhero. Fans are asking if someone broke into the S.T.A.R. lab and who could it possibly be.

According to a report by Comic Book, the photo that was released by "The Flash" shows most of the characters made it out alive from the season 1 finale. However, there is a great time jump since in Season 2, the series will be fast forwarding at least six months after the first season. It will reportedly be centered on the story of Barry Allen, the show's protagonist.

Accordingly, the uninvited guest that has startled everyone in the photo released might Atom Smasher since he will be one of the villains for Season 2. Harrison Wells is also another possibility.

Just a back track, the Flash raced to save Central City in the first season of the show as it was supposed to be consumed by a black hole. Showrunner Grant Gustin pointed out that the fans of the series should not expect season 2 to be exactly like where the show left off. Gustin teased, "It's not as different as you'd think, but as we move forward, some things will blow fans' minds," Cinema Blend reported.

Meanwhile, the premiere date for "The Flash" Season 2 was released in a short teaser trailer and the show will be back to the small screen on Tuesday, October 6 on The CW. Screen Crush reported that the characters that fans will be seeing in season 2 are Shantel VanSanten, who will play the role of the new love interest of Barry, Teddy Sears as Jay Garrick, Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West, and Adam Copeland as Atom Smasher. Returning characters for season 2 are Gorilla Grodd, Captain Gold, and Golden Glider.
