Bandai Namco and Capcom's latest collaboration project, Tekken X Street Fighter, has both been awaited, and forgotten, as most fans may be putting it. As many people may have leaned over to the fact that the game may not at all push through, the game developers and producers have scrapped the rumors away; confirming what the real score is for the upcoming merged game.
As recently reported, the game has been long overdue with the supposed creation Tekken X Street Fighter. Like any other game that is being fabricated, the developers and producers of the said title have been consistently asked of where the game stands as of the moment and directly from the game's idealist, a straight forward response came forth for the fans to keep remembering.
Katsuhiro Harada, the producer of the entire Tekken franchise, claimed in an interview that was delivered by Christian Today, that the rumor surrounding the Tekken X Street Fighter franchise regarding its cancellation, were all far from true, or better put, not at all. Harada stated that as of the moment, the game is far into its development, and that they have reached far into it as well.
According to Master Herald, Tekken X Street Fighter is already well on its way. Lately, Harada has been working on other titles, which kept him and the developers completely busy for the past number of months to years. Such games include the Pokken Tournament, and the already released Tekken 7 franchise that continues the long running series, while Ono of Capcom currently focused on the Street Fighter V franchise.
With no definite release date, Tekken X Street Fighter is expected to be exposed to the public within 2016. Having said that, fans have to stay tuned for more news of what will perhaps be the future of the upcoming collaboration of two electronic gaming powerhouses.
