The highly anticipated release date announcement of Persona 5, touted to be one of 2015's AAA title to launch as an exclusive title for PS4 and PS3, is predicted at the fast approaching Sony Computer Entertainment Asia Press Conference (SCEJAPC) including an-all new trailer for the game.
As of yet, Persona 5 is set to arrive on a vague 2015 release and fans are still hoping to receive the solid launching date to mark their calendars. Since Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia Press Conference is right around the corner, some game pundits see some possibilty that a new trailer will be showcased including the final reveal of its release date, reports Design & Trend via official PlayStation Japan website.
Design & Trend reports that SCEJAPC is happening two days prior to another big event, Tokyo Game Show 2015, expected to highlight tons of Japanese and Asian game releases at the said conference. Persona 5 is among Sony's first party exclusive titles this year and based on the fact that a trailer was showcased on the same event in 2014, it is very likely that this is also happening this year.
Atlus revealed at the said event last year that the development of the fifth installment of Persona series slid into a 2015 release window as the RPG is coming to PS4 and PS3 consoles. Despite some rumors circulating online that Persona 5 might be pushed back to 2016, the game publisher has been reportedly firm to guarantee the fans that the release will be definitely be happening in 2015.
Meanwhile, fans who are hoping to get their hands on a PC version of the game will be unhappy to know that it might not happen anytime soon, according to Atlus USA PR John Hardin who earlier confirmed this not so good news via Twitter.
A couple of months back, a never before seen video for Atlus' upcoming big title was released in Japanese together with a bonus disc for Persona 4: Dancing All Night which is on its way to North America next month.
Persona 5 is still rooting for a 2015 release date in both Japan and North America exclusive to Sony's Playstation consoles, PS4, PS4 and PS Vita.
