Mortal Kombat X co-creator Ed Boon has recently revealed on social media that actor Arnold Schwarzenegger's Terminator character, T-800, from the popular movie franchise is once again considered to become one of the characters included in the game's highly speculated Kombat Pack 2.
On Friday, Boon retweeted, "The Terminator wants to join our game," and commented that "That conversation DID happen!" It appears that the T-800 was considered to be part of the game but did not materialize. The game director did not elaborate further details but it would have been great if the T-800 Terminator was added to the Horror Pack alongside Jason Voorhees and the Predator.
Although the Terminator has not appeared yet in Mortal Kombat X, gamers will still enjoy playing as T-800 in the upcoming WWE 2K16 which is scheduled to launch on October 27 this year, reports Realty Today.
Now that the fourth Mortal Kombat X DLC has been released, Ed Boon and NetherRealm continue to tease fans with hints about next DLC which is called Kombat Pack 2. Christian Today reports that NetherRealm Studios has been dropping clues about this new expansion and Boon posting an image on his Twitter account with a hashtag #IfThereIsAKombatPack2.
For the excited fans, the arrival of the Kombat Pack 2 is almost certain but the debate now is on who will fill the roster of the Kombat Pack 2. Rumors say that the non-playable characters in Mortal Kombat X such as Rain, Sindel, and Baraka will also be included in the next Kombat Pack.
Mortal Kombat X is the tenth main title in Mortal Kombat video game franchise that is released by NetherRealm Studios for Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The game was launched last April for PS 4, Xbox One and mobile devices. A version of the game for the old-gen consoles, however, is still being developed by High Voltage Software expected to hit the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles soon.
