Popular mobile apps developer Nuance finally came back in the scene, after flying under the radar for some time, with their new offering the Dragon Anywhere App. In reality, the popular speech recognition and imaging technology company was responsible for you device's dictation feature, whether it's Apple or Samsung or LG or Sony, etc.
The Dragon Anywhere App as claimed by the organization will be far more superior voice dictation application than its competitors like Apple, Google, and Microsoft, Gadgets TV reported. What made it different from the others, as per the report, is the application's ability to capture endless voice input and transcribe everything accurately.
Other than just a voice dictation application, the application will be very applicable for creating and editing complete reports and documents, capture detailed notes which are very fitting for interviews, meetings, lectures, etc., Fone Arena cited.
The apps design and structure enables the phone's speakers to navigate through a document through voice commands and it can also integrate number of clouds service which will give its users the ability to use the app while working on a certain document, the report added.
Dragon's Senior Vice President and General Manager Peter Mahoney the success of the application on the business industry was the main reason why the organization chose to offer the same service for the mobile industry. He also mentioned that professionals across industries have relied on the application for document and paperwork completion, which are very critical to their specific businesses.
At this point, the application is available in the UK and US (English version) via App Store and Google Play as a subscription based application, Business Wire recounted. The application is available on either monthly or yearly subscription, at $15 and $150, respectively.
True enough the Nuance Dragon Anywhere application proved its worth in the business world but the biggest question that is still hanging in the balance is its applicability on the mobile industry, most specially that the majority of today's devices were equipped with the same feature, at no extra cost.
