There might be some truth to the lingering news that Uncharted 4:  A Thief's End will be released in Spring 2016.  Fans and followers of the said franchise should have hinted this on the recent status of Naughty Dog's Neil Druckmann in his Twitter page.  For any consolation, the video game will be at the Gamestop Expo 2015 in September.  Its developer might drop outright the release date from there, or leave another hint, or something indefinite again.

Picked up from Gamepur, "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End development is going on pretty smooth, and it seems like the game is well on track for an official launch in Spring 2015.  Naughty Dog's Neil Druckmann via Twitter has shared a new update on development status of Uncharted 4.  Neil confirmed that mocap for Sully and Elena has been completed."

Although the game's release is still indefinite and yet to be announced by Naughty Dog, what is confirmed at this time is that the video game will be streamed live on September 2 at the Gamestop Expo 2015.  According to the Master Herald the game will be streamed live for 20 minutes at 1pm on that day.  Square Enix titles will follow, along with Street Fighter 5 next.

Although the game is not yet released, Naughty Dog had been applauded for the seven-minute demo trailer of Uncharted 4 during the E3 2015 held in June.  Critics and gamers were quite impressed with the video game's level of intensity as well as the visual feasts that it offered to them.

It had been four years since Uncharted 3:  Drake's Deception; and fans and players alike of the series had been clamoring since then.  The game received critical acclaim, averaged 92% on review aggregate website Metacritic and 91.76% on GameRankings, making Unchartered 3 the best reviewed video games in 2011.

Thus, it may never had been easy for Naughty Dog to take flight from there and release the next series abruptly.  Plus, the plot of Uncharted 4:  A Thief's End is set three years after the events of Uncharted 3.  What would happen to Nathan Drake as he retired from being a fortune hunter and decided to have a normal life with his Elena Fisher instead?
