Stores now accept mobile pay for Apple and Android?

The enhancement of Apple and Android Pay reaches more establishments/shops like McDonald's which accept this new mode of payment. The new payment platform is supported by NFC-based technology which provides accessibility and convenience to customers. Google assures that subscriber's bank details are secured every time the mobile pay app is used.

Consumerist noted that some restaurants like McDonald's have already posted placards of Mobile Pay in front of their doors. The report said that Google has never announced any time yet on when the application will be released.

On the other hand, Consumerist reported that Best Buy, GameStop, Staples, Macy's, Petco, and others will be partners of such application.

As of now, The Verge mentioned in their report that Android Pay is nowhere to be found in Google Play Store and other websites. It added that the application may be released and available together with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Some reports said that the new Android OS may come out this fall. Nevertheless, TechCrunch said that the new mobile pay platform will not be out anytime this week.

On one hand, related report told that Mobile Pay for Android and Apple will enable users to pay services or items in-store through NFC-based technology.

Since it is needed to attach personal bank details like Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express to the Mobile Pay app, some handsets have a fingerprint scanner for security purposes, Tech Crunch said.

In addition, an exclusive page for Android Pay posted three security measures for its subscribers. First, the actual bank information will be represented by a virtual account number whenever Android Pay is used to stores. Second, subscribers can have full detail access on the purchased item such as where the transaction occurred and the dealer's name and number. Lastly, subscribers can use Android Device manager to lock the device if ever the phone got lost or stolen.

There are no reports that verify the exact date of release for the new mobile payment platform. Thus, both Android Pay and Apple Pay are not yet available to be used at the moment.
