Jessica Alba is currently starring a movie opposite Pierce Brosnan. Alba plays the lead, named Kate, who is impregnated by the character of Brosnan, a womanizer who is sleeping with Kate's sister, played by Salma Hayek according to Latin Times. This new romantic comedy movie is entitled Some Kind of Beautiful.
According to the movie release, Richard, the character played by Pierce Brosnan is a successful college professor who is used to a stream of one-night stands. He then gives up that lifestyle when he gets the character of Jessica Alba pregnant. Years after it happened, Alba's character starts falling in love with someone else and asks her sister, played by Hayek to go check on Brosnan making sure their child is well taken care of. Things start to take a twist and turn when Hayek's character starts falling in love with Brosnan. The movie is directed by Tom Vaughn.
Along with the actress' new movie, she is also declared as one of the richest self-made women in the United States due to her household product line, The Honest Company which is now worth $1.7bn. As reported by the International Business Times, the 34-year old actress co-founded the eco-friendly company back in 2011. Alba owns 20% stake in the company. Investing in the company was a personal business move for the actress, which has proved to become a huge success.
Jessica Alba is definitely making a name for herself, not only in Hollywood films but in personal businesses as well. Her success in her acting career and business life has made her the woman that she is now.
